“Into the Okavango” (2018)

Kaya worked on the feature-length documentary, Into the Okavango, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018 and Hollywood Reporter called “transporting.” From National Geographic Documentary Films, the film chronicles a team of modern-day explorers on their first epic four-month, 1,500-mile expedition across three countries to save the river system that feeds the Okavango Delta, one of our planet's last wetland wildernesses. Kaya worked on the film as a co-producer, assistant editor, camera operator and camera assistant from 2014 through the film’s completion. Currently available on Disney+.
